ARCUP Hosted by the Watch in Halifax, NS | March 20–22, 2015

Get ready for ARCUP 2015, hosted by the Watch, at University of King's College in Halifax, Nova Scotia!

The conference is shaping up to be a blow-out, and we want as many of you to come as we can! With a great line-up of speakers we're sure this ARCUP will have something for everybody.

Do you like learning from some of the top journalists around? Meeting other student writers from the Atlantic provinces? Karaoke?

We do too. That’s why we’re hosting ARCUP, the Atlantic regional conference of the Canadian University Press. March 20-22, right here at King’s.

Sessions will include:
-Reporting for small communities
-Music writing
-Covering breaking news
-Taking great photos
and many more. Plus dinners, keynotes and social events in the evenings.?#?WOW?

-One of our workshops this year will be an article critique for delegates, done by some of our journalism professors at King's. Anyone who wants to take part in that workshop should sendwatcheditors@gmail.com the article they want critiqued by Monday, March 16 at noon.

CUP members: $40
Non-CUP members: $55
Hotel: $115/night at the Atlantica Hotel on Quinpool Road for either a double or single, parking included.
