Board of Directors

Andrew Mrozowski is a political science grad and Executive Editor of The Silhouette, McMaster University’s student newspaper. He was formerly the Ontario Representative for CUP85.

Amy St. Amand is the Editor in Chief of the NAIT Nugget and is excited to be stepping up into a bigger role within CUP. Formerly the Communications Director, Amy wants to return CUP to its “glory days” while honoring the organization’s impressive legacy. 

Blaine is the current Business Manager for The Meliorist at the University of Lethbridge and is excited to take on the challenge of Treasurer for CUP this upcoming year.

Nisha Gill (she/her) is the Communications Director for the CUP 86 Board. Currently in her last year of McMaster University’s Arts & Science program, she is the Editor-in-Chief of the Silhouette.

Hannah Theodore (she/her) is thrilled to be taking on the role of Director of Operations for CUP Board 86. A graduate of Western University and Fanshawe College, she is now the Editor of Interrobang, Fanshawe College’s student newspaper. 

David Shuman (he/him) is an Atlantic representative for CUP. Born in Halifax, he is the editor-in-chief of The Dalhousie Gazette (Dalhousie University), and the former editor of The Watch (University of King’s College). 

Emmaline Spencer (she/her) is ecstatic to be on the CUP board this year as a Western Representative. She is an Editor for The Cascade, the University of the Fraser Valley’s student-run newspaper. 

Katie Teeling (she/her) is one of the Prairie Representatives, and the 2023-24 Editor-in-Chief at The Gateway, the University of Alberta’s student newspaper.

Abhiraj Lamba (He/Him) is the former managing editor of Imprint, the University of Waterloo’s official student newspaper. His reporting has been primarily focused on arts and culture, as well as the student government and local politics beats.
