Board of Directors

Andrew Mrozowski is a political science grad and Executive Editor of The Silhouette, McMaster University’s student newspaper. He was formerly the Ontario Representative for CUP85.

Amy St. Amand is the Editor in Chief of the NAIT Nugget and is excited to be stepping up into a bigger role within CUP. Formerly the Communications Director, Amy wants to return CUP to its “glory days” while honoring the organization’s impressive legacy. 

Blaine is the current Business Manager for The Meliorist at the University of Lethbridge and is excited to take on the challenge of Treasurer for CUP this upcoming year.

Nisha Gill (she/her) is the Communications Director for the CUP 86 Board. Currently in her last year of McMaster University’s Arts & Science program, she is the Editor-in-Chief of the Silhouette.

Hannah Theodore (she/her) is thrilled to be taking on the role of Director of Operations for CUP Board 86. A graduate of Western University and Fanshawe College, she is now the Editor of Interrobang, Fanshawe College’s student newspaper. 

Emmaline Spencer (she/her) is ecstatic to be on the CUP board this year as a Western Representative. She is an Editor for The Cascade, the University of the Fraser Valley’s student-run newspaper. 

Anabella (she/her) is excited to be a BC/North representative on CUP 86. She’s a political science student at UBC and currently the coordinating editor of The Ubyssey.

Geono (he/him) is a Praire Representative for Cup 86. As a second-year marketing student and Sports Editor for the NAIT Nugget, he is excited to represent the Praire region and join the Canadian University Press.

Alleah (she/her) is a BBA student studying marketing at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and a Senior Editor at the NAIT Nugget. She is excited to use her experience working in journalism at a polytechnic to represent other student publications across the prairies.

Serena Austin is the Central Representative for CUP86. She is a graduate of Laurier Brantford's digital media and journalism program, and is wrapping up her term as President & Publisher of Wilfrid Laurier University Student Publications. Serena is super excited to be more involved with CUP in the next year!
