BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Andrew Mrozowski is a political science grad and Executive Editor of the Silhouette, McMaster University’s student newspaper. The SIL is also a part of CFMU Radio Inc., the first merger between a publishing newspaper and FM-broadcasting radio station in recent memory.

 

He was formerly the Ontario Representative for CUP85. He is humbled to have been serving as CUP President since 2023.

Iman is the Editor-in-Chief of the Ubyssey and is the Vice-President of CUP.

​

Mahin was the Visuals Editor and Managing Editor at The Ubyssey and is now serving as the Treasurer of CUP88.

​​

Amy is currently serving as the Director of Operations of CUP88 and is the Editor-in-Chief at The NAIT Nugget.

​

Fiona Sjaus is a cognitive systems graduate from the University of British Columbia where she served as The Ubyssey’s 2024/25 features editor. She is now the Western Representatives for CUP88.

​

Alleah (she/her) is CUP88’s Director of Communications and was formerly one of the CUP87 and CUP86 Prairies Representatives. She is the full-time Senior Editor at The NAIT Nugget in Edmonton and a Northern Alberta Institute of Technology alumna (BBA - Marketing ’25). While she loves marketing, public relations and comms, student publications have a special place in her heart and she has over five years of experience in campus media.

Geono (he/him) is the sports editor at The NAIT Nugget and is returning for his third term as a Prairies Representative. He enjoys getting to know other student journalists in the Prairies region and also finding the next great local sports story.

Pia is a Prairies Represenative for CUP88 and the Digital Content Creator at The NAIT Nugget.

Declan is a Central Representative for CUP88 and Editor-in-Chief of the The Silhouette.

​

Aidan Raynor is the Editor-in-Chief of The Concordian for Volume 43. He is in his third year at Concordia University pursuing a major in journalism and minor in political science. Aidan and former Concordian EIC, Marieke Glorieux-Stryckman, won the World Press Freedom Canada 2025 Student Achievement Award for their investigation and continuing project focused on the access to information practices of Canadian universities. He is eager to unite Canadian student papers through CUP to defend against the threats to press freedom increasingly faced by the student press of today.

Lee Hurley is a Communications & Media Studies student and the current Managing Editor of The Muse at Memorial University of Newfoundland. They’re incredibly honoured to take on the position of CUP88's Eastern Representative.
